Van Tuyll built a career at Shell, where he held various financial roles in complex (international) markets. Prior to his appointment as CFO of NAM in 2022, he served, among other roles, as Finance Director of Shell Pernis, the largest refinery in Europe with around 60 plants which produce oil products and basic chemicals from crude oil. He also worked in the Middle East for about 10 years. Before his years at Shell, Van Tuyll van Serooskerken worked in investment banking at Kempen & Co.
