Perpetual Next joins XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition

Perpetual Next is proud to announce that team Perpetual Next is a verified participant to the USD 100 million XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition. We’re excited to be one of 1,133 teams registered for the competition.

Joint venture between Perpetual Next and Gasunie: new green gas plant coming to Delfzijl the Netherlands

• Partnership in which Perpetual Next will produce syngas and green gas
• Gasunie will handle distribution – locally and via a national network
• Torrefaction of organic residual and waste flows means no use of fossil sources
• The plant will be built in the Delfzijl chemical cluster and be operational from 2024

The digester that Perpetual Next (85% interest) has built in Ellesmere Port, West England, is almost operational. The so-called Trinity project is in the commissioning phase and will deliver its first green gas by the end of November.

Agreement Perpetual Next with OMR Moerdijk

On 17 November, Perpetual Next signed an agreement with BNM Holding bv to acquire OMR Moerdijk in North Brabant. The legal transfer of the shares will take place in December.
