Perpetual Next has become owner of English biogas plant

January 14, 2021

Perpetual Next has become the owner of Trinity. This new power station in Ellesmere Port, West England, will convert low-grade organic residual flows from the agricultural sector into biogas, which will then be upgraded to green gas.

Green gas is a sustainable alternative to fossil natural gas and can be injected directly into the existing natural gas network. Green gas is important for making the energy supply more sustainable and is seen as an end solution in the energy transition. The residual product of biogas production (digestate) will be used to make agricultural land more fertile.
