On January 23, 2022, Dutch newspaper FD published an article about Perpetual Next's intended IPO in 2025.

The digester that Perpetual Next (85% interest) has built in Ellesmere Port, West England, is almost operational. The so-called Trinity project is in the commissioning phase and will deliver its first green gas by the end of November.

On 17 November, Perpetual Next signed an agreement with BNM Holding bv to acquire OMR Moerdijk in North Brabant. The legal transfer of the shares will take place in December.

ArcelorMittal Ghent has taken an important step in its decarbonisation journey by choosing to use high-quality bio-coal as a raw material for its steel production process. Until now, fossil coal was mainly used in steel production to extract iron from iron ore, among other things.

Baltania reached a new milestone today. The High Temperature Torrefaction line at the new plant in Estonia has successfully produced the first batch of Perpetual Carbon. The reactor has passed this first test without any problems.

Drying plant Primco Duiven and The Green Solution have signed a heat supply agreement. With the hot water produced by Primco, The Green Solution supplies among others weed fighters. Weed control with hot water is by far the most environmentally friendly and effective solution at this moment.

Perpetual Next has become the owner of Trinity. This new power station in Ellesmere Port, West England, will convert low-grade organic residual flows from the agricultural sector into biogas, which will then be upgraded to green gas. 

The heat plant Primco Lelystad and the company The Green Solution have signed a heat supply agreement. With the hot water produced by Primco, The Green Solution supplies among other things weed killers.

Despite closed borders, the construction of the Baltania torrefaction plant in Estonia continues in coronation time. The reactor and pellitiser building have been given a roof and the floor in the production hall has been poured.
